MANHATTAN, Kan., Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Briggs Auto, a series of car dealerships in Kansas, is getting excited for the Second Annual National Plug In Day which is set to take place on Sunday, September 23, 2012. This event won't be a local event, but a national event, as a variety of activities are set to take place in 60 plus cities across the nation.
Some of the activities that green technology enthusiasts, and those curious, can expect to see this Sunday include; electric car parade(s), music, games, ride-and-drives and much more.

This event was put together by the following organizations, which include; Plug In America, the Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association. Participants in this event can expect to find a wide-range of electric vehicles, including Nissan's 100% electric Nissan LEAF.
