SOUTH BEND, Ind., Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans celebrate the unparalleled history of their team's 125th Anniversary season. But they'll also be met by a little something new. Centerplate, the largest event hospitality partner to North America's premier sports stadiums, convention centers and entertainment venues, announced today an exciting update of the fan menu for Notre Dame Stadium.
Centerplate's chefs have added a variety of new menu items created specifically for Notre Dame University and their legions of fans:
- Apple Barbeque Pork Loin Sandwich
- Prime Rib Nachos
- Maxwell Macaroni and Cheese topped sausage
Centerplate is also bringing back signature items including the:
- Dublin Steak Sandwich- featuring a center cut rib-eye steak covered with Irish Stout caramelized onions, Irish poundies (mashed potatoes), and topped with Irish cheddar cheese served on a fresh hoagie roll
- Legendary Carved Roast Turkey Breast Sandwich - Served on a freshly baked kaiser bun dressed with dill havarti cheese, lettuce, tomato and peppered mayonnaise served with house made kettle chips.
Commemorating the 125th Anniversary of the Notre Dame Football program, Centerplate is offering logo cups and popcorn boxes with the anniversary logo. Centerplate also increased the traditional Irish Favorites, added quick-serve favorites and healthier-for-you options to the menu.
