MANHATTAN, Kan., Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Kansas State Cars, an affiliate dealership in Kansas, couldn't be more excited about the fact that Buick and GMC plan to introduce nine new vehicle models in the next 12 months. This will be led by GMC's Acadia crossover vehicle and Buick's luxury crossover Enclave which are due to be released this Fall.
Other Buick and GMC vehicles that will receive updates, or be introduced for the first time, include; the Buick Encore, Buick Regal, Buick LaCrosse, GMC Sierra/GMC Sierra HD and GMC Yukon/GMC Yukon XL.
Brian Sweeney, VP of Buick and GMC Sales & Service, talked about what the release of these new vehicles will mean for both the Buick and GMC brand, stating that, "We're not only selling more vehicles, we're bringing new customers to the Buick and GMC showroom. Both brands report more than 40 percent conquest sales. Buick was the only automotive brand in the United States to reduce the average age of its buyer during the past five years, and GMC continues to attract more female buyers and – with Denali vehicles – more import and luxury owners."
So far through 2012, the Buick and GMC brands have sold more than 400,000 units which puts both brands on track to reach there third consecutive year of increased sales figures. This only spells good news for both Buick and GMC as these new models and vehicle updates will help sales reach new levels for years to come.
