etc.venues Birmingham site is one of its most popular and most highly awarded
etc.venues success at its centrally located Birmingham venue, proves not all businesses favour central London. The Maple House address is one of the company's most popular and highly awarded venues. Offering both flexible training rooms and meeting rooms, etc.venues' Maple House has won the Gold Award for customer service multiple times; it's also been named IT Training Venue of the Year and it won silver at The Heart of England Awards. Furthermore Maple House's chefs are winners too - in the prestigious CCE/IACC Chef's Challenge Awards.
Birmingham is rapidly becoming a favoured meeting location for domestic and international businesses. This autumn, three major conferences are taking place in the city, boosting the local economy by around £4 million.
Business in the area is bucking the national trend for contraction and the government has recently announced plans to devote £8 million to support a programme of initiatives to help 200 SMEs in the West Midlands.
Maple House was etc.venues first location outside London. At the time, in 2009, this move was a bold step out of the company's comfort zone in London. But etc.venues proved it was a great business decision. A year later Maple House won the coveted BDRC UK Conference Venue of the Year Award. As other venue companies suffered in the downturn, etc.venues actually expanded Maple House and this resulted in and expanding client base and yet more awards, including another BDRC UK VenueVerdict Gold Standard Venue Award.
Maple House now has 22 rooms with a maximum room capacity of 160. Room hire includes continental breakfast, two-course restaurant lunch, free-flowing teas and coffees, chilled filtered water, pastries, biscuits and snacks. All rooms come complete with high-speed Wifi, high-tech data projectors, stationary and flip chats with plenty of natural light.
The central Birmingham location offers excellent transport links by rail and road and numerous entertainment facilities including shopping, bars, restaurants and cinemas.
