DETROIT, Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Job Creators Solutions Truth Tour heads to the Great Lakes region this week for the next leg of the 30-day, 30-city journey to empower the private sector. The Truth Tour stops in Detroit Thursday where nationally recognized business leaders and economic experts will join Herman Cain to share TRUTH with job creators, and business and community leaders at a free luncheon.

Mr. Cain will speak to business leaders at a luncheon Thursday, September 27, at 11:30am at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

"Michigan and Ohio are two states that have severely felt the effects of many years of failed economic policies," Cain said. "These are policies that have further separated free enterprise and economic freedom from the hard working people of the region. However, I believe within the Great Lakes there is great potential. And it starts with knowing the facts about these failed policies and the truth about real solutions."

Herman Cain and Bernie Marcus, the co-founder of The Home Depot, formed Job Creators Solutions. Both men realized there is an informational and inspirational void in our nation which has been hijacked by those who seek to destroy free enterprise and endanger the very economic fabric of our society that made it great.

Cain said he is encouraged by the reaction and enthusiasm from those who have attended the Truth Tour so far.
