Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/hmtrsl/amazon_7_kindle) has announced the addition of the "Amazon 7 Kindle Fire 2 is projected to enter mass production with ~1.5M units per month from June" report to their offering.

We anticipate Quanta to enter mass production for Amazon's 7 Kindle Fire 2 (Tate) in June and the initial production shipments are projected to have -1.5M units per month. In addition, Amazon has a possibility to launch a new version of Kindle Fire 1 (Octer II) in June and the monthly production forecast could be about 700-750K units. Also, it seems that Amazon may slow down their 8.9 tablet project in order to focus on their new Kindle Fire 2 product launch at this moment.
