WESTERVILLE, Ohio, Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hondros College, an IRS-approved continuing education provider, announced today it will offer continuing education and examination preparation courses to registered tax professionals in Ohio who hold a preparer tax identification number (PTIN).
The courses are available for tax professionals, providing them options to meet the new government tax preparer's continuing education requirements and plan for the formal IRS examination.
Starting in 2012, government tax preparation requirements state anyone who possesses a PTIN or wishes to be a registered tax return preparer must pass the IRS competency examination by Dec. 31, 2013.
