Bluepoint Solutions today announced that Mountain America Credit Union (MACU) has processed more than 100,000 mobile transactions, resulting in nearly $36.5 million in deposits, since launching the QwikDeposit ToGo mobile remote deposit capture (RDC) application in 2011.

Details are published in a case study examining the results of QwikDeposit ToGo’s adoption and usage one year after launching the service at MACU.

West Jordan, Utah-based MACU, with $3.2 billion in assets, serves more than 355,000 members through 69 locations in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Officially launched in July 2011, MACU was one of the first community financial institutions to implement mobile deposit. Since its launch, MACU’s mobile RDC adoption has grown rapidly and helped the credit union significantly increase wallet share among its younger members.
