The team has over 20 years experience in performance measurement helping the world’s largest web sites deliver high performance web and mobile applications.
"Buddy and Philip spoke at Velocity in 2012 in Santa Clara and will be speaking again this week in London,” said Steve Souders, Head Performance Engineer at Google. “I’m proud that Velocity gives young innovative companies like LogNormal the exposure needed to succeed. LogNormal and SOASTA's combined expertise in real user measurement and cloud testing is a great match."
“We’ve seen that when organizations take advantage of technologies that provide real-time performance information, they are able to gain a significant benefit in terms of their overall application performance and reliability,” said Jim Rapoza, Senior Research Analyst at the Aberdeen Group. “As the requirements for application performance become more immediate and critical, organizations are finding that they need to focus on real-time monitoring and analytical capabilities that can show how real-users are experiencing applications and make it possible to respond to performance issues as quickly as possible.”
The acquisition was completed in September of 2012, and the LogNormal employees have joined SOASTA effective immediately. The team brings deep technical knowledge and market expertise in mobile and web performance.
