MONROE, La., Oct. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CenturyLink, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) District 7 and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) today announced a day-to-day extension of their existing labor contracts, which were scheduled to expire at 11:59 p.m. MDT Oct. 6. During this extension, negotiations between the parties will continue while workers remain on the job.
