SAN DIEGO, June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Satellite Security Corporation ("Satellite") (BULLETIN BOARD: SSCY) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Satellite Security Systems, Inc. ("S3"), today announced that S3 has completed integrating the functionality of the Cingular Wireless GSM network and S3's fleet management system, both of which are tied into S3's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, monitoring and support center operations.

"S3 has always been committed to providing a ubiquitous solution to its customers. By integrating GSM into the S3 operations, we now offer a 3-teir approach to providing world-wide coverage that enables us to monitor our customers needs and to respond accordingly on a global scale," explains John Phillips, CEO of Satellite. S3 now offers wireless communications coverage over the ReFLEX network, the Inmarsat network delivered through the use of geosynchronous satellites providing world wide communications and now, over the GSM network through S3's integration of the Cingular Wireless network.

"Because S3 has a diverse customer base, no one solution is the perfect fit for all of our customer's needs. We continue to focus on ways to provide multiple, black-box technologies that do not limit our customers to any one wireless provider, or any one technology," says Phillips. S3 continues to build on its success of providing solutions based services to clients throughout the law enforcement and homeland security community, the pupil transportation and safety market as well as the hazardous material transportation market. S3's ability to build and scale solutions that range from low cost, minimal data packages to large fleet, high data speed applications allows S3 have a unique service offering that the commercial market is embracing.

S3 has begun deploying the GSM solution into its existing customer base and will continue to implement this new technology. S3 has taken the additional step of establishing a certified Access Point Name (APN) within the S3 infrastructure in order to maintain data security for all S3 clients that utilize S3's GSM solutions. S3 has also taken security precautions to ensure that data between remote devices and S3's servers is delivered directly to S3 and not through any other bulk data or shared group network, much like a corporate Virtual Private Network.
