OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/16/12 -- The Canada Border Services Agency can confirm that there has been an incident at the Douglas port of entry in British Columbia. A border services officer has been injured by gunfire. RCMP are investigating. We are not releasing any further information at this time.
The port of entry is currently closed. The CBSA advises travelers to use nearby Pacific Highway or Aldergrove ports of entry.
