PITTSBURGH, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GiftCards.com is pleased to announce the addition of Carlos Tribino to the company's executive team. Carlos will serve as the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) for GiftCards.com and its sister companies.
Carlos brings 20 years of marketing experience to GiftCards.com from his work as V.P. of Marketing at Viacom International Media Networks. During his time at Viacom, Carlos was responsible for managing all marketing, Public Relations, research and events for MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central in various southern European markets. During his tenure, MTV become the largest media brand in social media, with over 2 million Twitter followers, and doubled its television audience within 18 months.
Carlos' extensive career began at Time Warner in New York, and extended to Omnicom, where he consulted for such recognizable brands as Walt Disney, Chivas Regal, Ferrari, Estee Lauder, and Yahoo!.

This is the second recent addition to the GiftCards.com executive team as Jay Scannell, who was previously the COO at SkyMall, was hired in July as the Chief Operations Officer.
