New Dawn Technologies, a Logan, Utah-based company, is wrapping up its most successful year to date.
Established more than 16 years ago to provide leading-edge web-based case management software for government agencies, New Dawn Technologies builds smart technologies that benefit communities. A wrap-up of 2012 includes accolades from the business community, the distribution of a competitive community grant and one of the largest number of go-lives in a single year for the JustWare | Solution Suite.
In 2012, New Dawn Technologies was listed in the top 2000 fastest growing companies in the United States by the Inc. 500|5000 list. New Dawn Technologies makes the list for the fourth year in a row.
Recently, New Dawn Technologies was honored by the MountainWest Capital Network as one of the fastest growing companies in Utah. This marks the sixth year that New Dawn Technologies has made the prestigious list.
JustWare implementations are imperative as New Dawn Technologies continues to grow. In 2012, more than 20 sites have gone live with JustWare, one of the largest numbers of JustWare go-lives in a single year. Court customers live with JustWare in 2012 include the High Court of American Samoa Judiciary, five distinct courts and justice districts within the Navajo Nation Tribal Government—with six more sites scheduled to launch in early 2013.
“We are dedicated to the development of agile technologies that build strong communities,” said Thomas P. Higgins, president and CEO of New Dawn Technologies. “We celebrate each implementation; we know the impact it will have on that customer’s justice community.”
More than 350 grant applications were received by New Dawn Technologies for a $10,000 grant designed to strengthen a struggling community. The winner, the Vienna Eagles Athletic Booster Club, applied for the community grant to repair major damage to the Maries R-1 Gymnasium, a gym that benefits the Vienna, Missouri, community.
In September 2012, New Dawn Technologies hosted the JustWare Training Conference for a record number of attendees. More than 80 government agencies and courts were represented.
The JustWare | Solution Suite saves customers time and taxpayer dollars by automating repetitive tasks. On average, JustWare saves 14 hours per employee each month with a 50% reduction in the time needed to generate reports and a 66% reduction in case entry time.
“New Dawn always strives to stay on the edge of new technologies in order to develop the best product for our customers,” said Edward Bills, director of research and development. “Through our frequent regular software releases, we maximize the delivery of value to our customers.”
New Dawn Technologies serves government customers—from criminal courts to specialty, civil, and municipal courts; attorneys general and county prosecutors to public defenders; community corrections and probation to child, family, and health services. New Dawn’s JustWare | Solution Suite is scalable and flexible enough to use in a single agency or in a large, multi-agency project spanning several states.
