LEEDS, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 10/18/12 -- Following the wettest summer for over 100 years, sun worshiping Brits are now going in search of sun, sea and sand.(i) If you are going abroad soon, you can pick up your travel money from Asda.
The Eurozone is one of the most popular holiday destinations of choice for Britons. In addition, Brits can now enjoy a better foreign exchange rate as the pound gains strength against the euro. The pound recently rose to a four month high against the dollar, giving more spending power to British holidaymakers heading to the US. (ii)
Those packing in the sun cream might also want to consider their foreign currency options. Asda Money bureaus can offer holidaymakers a good exchange rate whilst they complete their holiday shop.
Not only can holidaymakers enjoy the option of buying foreign exchange at Asda money bureaus, whilst picking up their sun cream, but they can also make the most of the flexibility, too. The Asda Money service allows holidaymakers to order their travel money online and pick it up for free in store at their own convenience.
As Asda Travel Money bureau opening hours are typically open longer than those of most high street travel bureaus, including the Post Office, collecting travel money has never been easier. Most Asda store travel bureaus have specific opening hours; if you do want to use this service use the store locator on the Asda travel money page in order to check exact opening times.
If you cannot make it to an Asda Travel Money bureau, you also have the option for next day delivery. Free home delivery is also available on travel money orders of GBP 500 and over.
Holidaymakers also have the option to order travel money over the phone. Those buying travel money from Asda can also benefit from 0% commission on foreign currency. In addition to this, Asda will buy back notes at 0% commission on foreign currency.
This means 0% commission on travel money for over 60 foreign currencies. You can order as little as GBP 50 and up to GBP 2,5000 in-store, online or over the phone.
