Fort Worth Law Firm Adds Three Attorneys to Tax Litigation Practice

Accomplished tax lawyer Lawrence Brown expanding services for clients

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The tax law firm Brown, PC, is announcing the addition of three associate attorneys to the firm's nationwide tax controversy and tax litigation practice.

Cynthia A. Cook provides clients with more than 20 years of experience in tax law and complex litigation. A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law, Ms. Cook earned a Master of Law in taxation from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law. She completed her undergraduate degree, with honors, at Wichita State University. She is a former director of the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association and a Fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation.

Fort Worth native Catherine Gonzaga joins the firm after working at a boutique tax litigation firm in San Diego, where she represented clients in a variety of tax controversies before federal and state agencies. Ms. Gonzaga earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and her Master of Law in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree, with high honors, from Hawaii Pacific University.

Naveid "Nick" Jahansouz is a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law, where he earned a number of academic honors. During law school, he served as chief counsel for the school's Federal Taxpayer's Clinic, which represents low-income taxpayers in IRS appeals, negotiations and filings. Mr. Jahansouz earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University.
