STANVILLE, Ky., Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The United for Coal movement held their rally in support of coal on October 13, 2012. This event was attended by local area miners and their families and supporters of coal mining.
A local resident flew his helicopter over the event to take photographs. Also, Eric C. Conn had a plane flown over the event to encourage support with a banner about United for Coal. Eric C. Conn, and many individuals, believe the EPA's all-out assault against coal mining is unfair and is destroying the fabric of coal mining communities throughout the United States.
The recent news and publicity about coal has been abundant. Unfortunately, the news does not tell the whole story. In particular, it does not tell the story about coal miners and their families being left with nothing and the destruction of economies in these communities.
Eric C. Conn hopes that the United for Coal Rally and message has at least changed some minds about coal. Eric C. Conn continues to support this organization and any organization that supports coal and coal miners.
