OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/23/12 -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency will hold a technical briefing to provide an update on the Agency's ongoing investigation of XL Foods Inc., Establishment 38 in Brooks, Alberta.

A question and answer session for the media will follow. Officials from the Public Health Agency of Canada will also be available to media.
