SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/23/12 -- Handal & Associates has filed three complaints against alleged infringers of e.Digital Corporation's (OTCQB: EDIG) Flash-R Portfolio™.

As of this release, three new actions have been filed against Yamaha Corp. (YAMCY); Yamaha Corporation of America; Diasonic Technology Co., Ltd; Korg, Inc.; and Korg USA, Inc. who are alleged to make products that infringe e.Digital Corporation's patents. Also named in the suits are several defendant distributors of infringing products, including Guitar Center, Inc.; Best Buy Co., Inc.; Best Buy Stores, L.P.; Best Buy.Com LLC; Sam Ash Music Corporation; J & R Electronics Inc.; Sweetwater Sound, Inc.; Kraft Music, Ltd.; and Sec Tech Enterprises, LLC.

In its complaints, e.Digital asserts that products made and sold by the defendants infringe U.S. patents covering the use of flash memory technologies embodied in many current flash-related recording devices. The patents are part of e.Digital's Flash-R patent portfolio.
