Caesar Systems has established a new region focus on Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and has appointed Jean-Claude Goyon as Region Director to improve decision quality through adoption of PetroVR decision assurance software by E&P operators seeking to accelerate to production with coaching support.
“PetroVR is a very powerful tool to enhance the integrated evaluation of E&P oil and gas projects, bringing tremendous benefits in terms of quality and speed to the decision making process for evermore complex projects. I strongly believe in the potential of PetroVR and look forward to leading its further deployment in the EMEA Region,” said J.C. Goyon.
Located in the United Kingdom, J.C. Goyon will work directly with and lead a team of client coaches located in the Region. Client coaches enable Caesar Systems clients to adopt best practices learned over 15 years of PetroVR development and implementation.
Prior to this engagement with Caesar Systems, J.C. Goyon served in many leadership roles at Shell, including senior business opportunity manager for new E&P business in many parts of the world including Russia and Iran; technical manager responsible for the governance of Shell E&P projects in the CIS countries, including Sakhalin 2 in Russia and Kashagan in Kazakhstan; vice president of E&P for Shell Russia; negotiator for the successful entry of Shell into the Caspian Pipeline Consortium through a complex multi-party joint venture; and working in various technical and project management roles for Shell in Gabon, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
