OPEN MINDS announced today a partnership with Defran Systems, Inc. to bring a new educational program to behavioral health and human service executives. The timely web briefing, “Entering The Age Of Integration: Strategies Of An Aspiring FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) Look-Alike,” will be launched on October 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM EDT.
“Making strategic decisions about integrated care models is a key issue for many behavioral health organizations,” said Monica E. Oss, OPEN MINDS Chief Executive Officer. “There are so many options and so many considerations. This web briefing, featuring faculty from Defran Systems, Inc. and the Alliance, Inc., will provide OPEN MINDS Circle members and industry key opinion leaders with the perspectives of an organization that has addressed the challenge.”

The expert faculty will share the qualifications, regulations, and agency needs in order to become a look-alike and the benefits of look-alike status — including getting paid at higher rates. Attendees will also hear a case study from Alliance, Inc., as Ms. Schoenberger gives details about her organization’s experience as a member of the National Council’s FQHC Look-Alike Learning Community.
