BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) class action lawsuit has been filed against T-Mobile following allegations by a man who claims he received over 30 automated collections calls from T-Mobile on his cell phone in just one month, even though he is not a T-Mobile customer. He explained to T-Mobile numerous times that he was not the person they were asking for and they had the wrong number, but the automated and pre-recorded calls continued.
In October 2012, The Law Office of Paul Mankin in conjunction with The Law Office of Todd M. Friedman filed a class action lawsuit against T-Mobile in Los Angeles, alleging multiple violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act because T-Mobile did not have a business relationship with this man and because the company kept calling him after he demanded they stop. Aboudi v. T-Mobile USA, Inc. et al. Case Number: 3:12-cv-02169-BTM-NLS
Both The Law Office of Paul Mankin and The Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman have several other class action suits in Los Angeles courts against companies who have been in violation of the TCPA with harassing collection calls and/or robocalls to cell phones. Victims of these companies can get up to $1,500 per violation.
If you or a loved one has suffered similar damages or injuries from T-Mobile (or other company), please contact us at (877) 449-8898 and Mr. Mankin and Mr. Friedman will evaluate your claim at no cost or obligation.
