BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Veteran health and lifestyle expert Brian Yusem has signed with TransMedia Group (www.transmediagroup.com) for publicity and promotion to help him tell his story, as he is in a fight with sources of traditional medicine who want to shut him down.
Yusem has spent his life developing a health plan for people to combat the underlying causes of illness through education and self-empowerment. From his 22-year health business, Yusem has thousands of clients who can give testimony as to the success of his program. He has never made claims to be an MD.
"Brian's is an interesting case with nationwide implications," said Donna Balancia, executive vice president of Publishing & Promotions at TransMedia Group. "We plan to feature Brian at events that will call attention the issues he represents."
"I am working with TransMedia Group because the people there know how to get my real story out to the public," Yusem said. "I have been falsely portrayed by everyone from envious physicians and scoop-seeking tabloid journalists, to the State of Florida. I have worked with medical professionals during my entire career. I am dedicated to helping people live longer, live smarter and live healthier without the use of unnecessary drugs. That is not a crime."
TransMedia Group will also work with Yusem's team of attorneys to make the public aware of Yusem's legal defense fund, which will be put towards the defense of charges that he practiced medicine in the State of Florida without a medical license and for also practicing with an expired medical license. It is anticipated that his trial begins in 2013.
The PR campaign aims to enlighten the public about Yusem's naturalist approach to healthcare, and will focus on events and opportunities, including the promotion of a consumer advocacy group based on his research of the health risks of genetically modified foods.
