NEW YORK, Nov. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nassau Candy, the leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of specialty confections and fine foods, today announced the appointment of Butch Hurley to the position of Sales Manager for California. Based in Newport Beach, California, in his new role Mr. Hurley will focus on expanding the market for the Company's line of specialty confections and fine foods throughout California.

Mr. Hurley joined Nassau Candy in 1993 as a sales representative and was later promoted to the position of Key Account Manager. Over the course of his career, he established thousands of solid relationships with independent retailers across the country and served as an integral part of the Company's growth.

Mr. Hurley holds an Associate's Degree from Nassau Community College, and has worked as a tireless volunteer for the Nassau County Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Manhattan's City Harvest.
