StrumSchool Launches On-Demand Interactive Video Guitar Lessons

StrumSchool announced the launch of its new live on-demand video guitar lesson service today. The new StrumSchool service provides beginning guitar students with highly personalized instruction from professional music teachers whenever and wherever students want.

Learn guitar on your terms

“Our goal is to make learning to play the guitar easier, more convenient, affordable and fun,” said StrumSchool’s founder, Benjamin Shapiro. “Until today beginning guitar students have had to choose between impersonal ‘one-size-fits-all’ online lessons or expensive private lessons that have to be scheduled in advance.

“StrumSchool’s On-Demand Lesson Service combines the best of both worlds. By using both the low cost and whenever-you-want-it convenience of Internet-based instruction, and the highly personalized, interactive instruction provided by a professional music teacher, we make it easy for our students to get help quickly without having to pay an arm and a leg. ”

On-demand changes everything

“The ability to engage and interact with a professional music teacher when and where you want will change the way people learn guitar,” said Shapiro. “It’s no longer about taking a lesson at a time and place scheduled weeks in advance, but rather getting instruction when the student feels inspired or needs help in the moment. We give our students the guidance they need to learn a new technique, a riff or song whenever they are ready.”

The first lesson is free

“There is no risk to try StrumSchool because the first lesson is free,” said Shapiro. “It’s a great way to get started on the path to becoming a better guitar player.”

Shapiro said students can get their first free lesson, which is 15-minutes in length, at http://www.strumschool.com/private-guitar-lessons.

Free content and professional instruction in one place

StrumSchool is the single resource beginning students need to get started with the guitar. The StrumSchool service includes free videos, live on-demand lessons, vocabulary, gear reviews, tips and tricks. More specifically:

  • Free Video Tutorials: Master the basics with StrumSchool’s curriculum of free videos. The StrumSchool curriculum of free HD videos help students master basic guitar fundamentals. The videos are broken into easily digestible chunks, so students can quickly grasp key concepts before moving on.
  • Professional Teachers: Easy access to accomplished, professional music teachers. All of StrumSchool’s instructors are full-time professional teachers (not just moonlighting musicians) with more than five years of teaching experience. When students come to StrumSchool they get accurate instruction that is specifically tailored to their needs.
  • Interactive Instruction: Live instruction at the exact moment students need it. StrumSchool students can get their questions answered quickly via free chat or through a live video lesson with a professional teacher.
  • Cost effective: Live lessons last only as long as students’ need them. With StrumSchool’s on-demand lessons, students determine how often to take a lesson and how long each lesson should be. Students have total control over how much they spend.

The definition of IoT is not new, in fact it’s been around for over a decade. Docker offers a new, lightweight approach to application portability. Applications are shipped using a common container format and managed with a high-level API. Their processes run within isolated namespaces that abstract the operating environment independently of the distribution, versions, network setup, and other details of this environment. This "containerization" has often been nicknamed "the new virtualization." But containers are more than lightweight virtual machines. Beyond their small...
The move in recent years to cloud computing services and architectures has added significant pace to the application development and deployment environment. When enterprise IT can spin up large computing instances in just minutes, developers can also design and deploy in small time frames that were unimaginable a few years ago.
