Record-Breaking Crowd Converges on Laserfiche Empower 2013

This morning, Laserfiche will kick off its Empower 2013 Conference with a keynote speech from company Founder and CEO Nien-Ling Wacker unveiling Laserfiche 9, the company’s newest release. Over 1,600 attendees from the worldwide Laserfiche community are taking part in the event.

“It’s a testament to the strength of our vibrant community that Empower 2013 is our largest gathering of leaders, experts and thinkers yet,” said Wacker. “In the face of economic uncertainty, we’re excited they made the effort to join us for three days of sharing, networking and learning.”

The Empower 2013 Conference, taking place at the Anaheim Marriott through January 9, features more than 180 educational sessions on ECM hot topics ranging from Web forms to enterprise process automation. IT leaders from Texas A&M Information Technology, the Long Beach Police Department, the South Dakota Office of the Attorney General and Mexico’s Camara de Senadores, among others, will share their Laserfiche expertise during Success Story presentations.

Later today, Gartner’s Kenneth Chin, Distinguished Analyst and Vice President, will deliver a briefing on the rise of transactional content management, and Michael Allen, Laserfiche Software Architect, will review the Laserfiche product roadmap.

Tomorrow’s keynote will feature Jereb Cheatham, Laserfiche Vice President of Strategic Services, and Andrew Brown, Regional Director of Laserfiche Strategic Services Canada, discussing how Laserfiche 9 enables organizations to accelerate business processes through agility.
