IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Newport Corporation (NASDAQ: NEWP) today announced that its senior management is scheduled to present at the 15^th Annual Needham Growth Conference at 2:50 pm EST on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the conference site in New York City.

Newport Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Phillippy, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Charles Cargile, will be making the presentation at the conference which is to be held in Holmes II in the New York Palace Hotel.
