GAINESVILLE, Ga., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Mansfield Energy Corp. is pleased to announce their continued involvement with Waste Industries' $15M project which includes CNG filling stations, maintenance facility upgrades and vehicles. Mansfield's latest project with Waste Industries, currently in development, is for their Brunswick site located at 2809 Galloway Road in Bolivia, NC. This project consists of the design/build of a Time-Fill CNG station equipped with 23 dual Time-Fill hoses allowing for the fueling of 46 vehicles simultaneously. Mansfield will provide the drawing package, equipment and installation, as well as the start-up and training required for the station. In addition to the station, Mansfield will provide a fully functional methane detection system at the Brunswick facility.
Gregory Brinkley, General Manager of Waste Industries-Brunswick stated, "We look forward to unveiling our fleet of 32 new trucks running cleaner on CNG fuel. The capacity of the CNG system being built allows for growth beyond these initial 32 trucks, further reducing Waste Industries' carbon footprint and serving as another example of the Company's commitment to environmental friendly innovations. We're proud to operate with HIGHER STANDARDS. LOWER IMPACT.®"
"We are so pleased to continue our collaboration with Waste Industries on the implementation of their CNG fueling projects including the present station in Brunswick, North Carolina. With more companies converting to CNG as a viable transportation fuel alternative, we are confident we will continue to move the ball forward towards lowering emissions, fuel costs and ultimately, sustainability for our customers," said J. Alexander, President of Mansfield Energy.
The project completion date is anticipated for April 2013.
