Empower Software Solutions, a leading provider of workforce and human resources (HR) solutions, has announced the executive appointment of Joe Olson to the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Workforce Management. Olson will report to President and CEO Jim Hoefflin and will become a member of the company’s leadership team.

Olson comes to Empower Software with over two decades of software industry experience and will be responsible for the commercial activities and delivery related to the company’s flagship Workforce Management solution, EmpowerWFM™, focusing on enterprise clients. He spent the last 14 years at RedPrairie (now JDA Software Group) in a number of sales, services and development leadership positions, most recently as vice president and general manager for the company’s consumer packaged goods and life sciences business unit.
