“This is our second Red Nitride phosphor product introduction in the last year,” said Yi-Qun Li, Chief Technology Officer for Intematix. “We have a long innovation pipeline of phosphors targeted to increase the color quality, efficacy and reliability of LED lighting.”
Long wavelength phosphors play a central role in extending the color range of LED applications like general lighting and displays including TVs, monitors and tablets. Intematix’s product offering includes the XR, Ruby, LWR, ER and R red nitrides as well as the Orange silicate platform. The company holds over 400 patents and patent applications worldwide in LED lighting technology.
The XR red nitride takes a leading role in color stability with a less than perceptible 2SDCM measured color shift in accelerated aging testing making it a beneficial choice for the newest high power LED designs.
