This year on Monday, January 21, Wesley Berry will be giving away 12,000 roses absolutely FREE to any adult who visits one of his Five Metro Detroit Wesley Berry Flowers locations between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. (or until the supply runs out).
This will be the 13th year of Wesley Berry Flowers sponsoring this event making the total number of roses given away over 156,000 in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. This year also marks the 50th Anniversary of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech.
There is one catch however. Everyone who takes a dozen roses has to make a promise to keep one rose for themselves and give the others away to 11 different people.
