CHANTILLY, Va., Jan. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TASC, Inc. has named Amanda Brownfield vice president of its Mission Analysis Business Unit.  In this role, Brownfield will be responsible for leadership and overall management of work for two of TASC's intelligence customers and provide program-protection services to a broad range of government customers.

Brownfield joins TASC after 15 years at SAIC, most recently serving as vice president for a business unit supporting customers across the intelligence, defense and law-enforcement communities.  Before SAIC, she served in the U.S. Army with the Corps of Engineers, attaining the rank of captain.  Brownfield earned a B.A. in political science at Duke University and an MBA at The George Washington University.
