Critical Mass (www.criticalmass.com) has appointed David Jones Vice President of its Social practice, working across the agency’s global accounts. A twenty-year communications veteran, Jones brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be based in the Critical Mass Toronto office.
Prior to joining Critical Mass, Jones was Vice President, Strategy at Blast Radius. Before that, he served as VP Social Strategy at Proximity Canada. Jones also held senior posts at PR agencies, Hill & Knowlton Canada, where he was VP, Digital Communication, and Fleishman-Hillard Canada, where he held the post of Senior Vice President. Beyond the agency world, Jones honed his marketing experience client-side, serving as Director of Communications for Molson Canada as well as the Royal Canadian Golf Association (now Golf Canada), among others.
A leader in Toronto's social media scene, Jones speaks regularly at communications industry events and at advertising and PR schools in Toronto and is a member of Golf Canada’s communications committee.
