SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 01/29/13 -- Alongside world premiere independent films, Verve made its debut to the film world elite at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival held in Park City, Utah, from January 17-27. As a sponsor of the Project Green Music Lounge, Verve not only helped support the nonprofit's mission to protect green space for future generations and fund Back-to-Basics Summer Camps for under-served children, but it also energized Sundance attendees, from A-list celebrities and film industry executives, to VIP moviegoers.
Guests of the Project Green Music Lounge and The RE:treat lounge sponsored by Entertainment Tonight, MTV, Project Green, The Creative Coalition, CW3PR, Nikki Beach, Southwest Airlines and Minnetonka were treated to Verve Energy Drink as well as Verve Healthy Happy Hour cocktails. The Project Green Music Lounge and RE:treat were bursting with energy and provided spectacular views and hot venues for celebrity interviews, music and entertainment. Wearable devices have come of age. The primary applications of wearables so far have been "the Quantified Self" or the tracking of one's fitness and health status. We propose the evolution of wearables into social and emotional communication devices. Our BE(tm) sensor uses light to visualize the skin conductance response. Our sensors are very inexpensive and can be massively distributed to audiences or groups of any size, in order to gauge reactions to performances, video, or any kind of present...
