The events were organized by the sales leaders of Team National, and were held throughout the nation, encompassing a total of 34 different U.S. cities.
The primary purpose of this year's NYKO was to spread awareness about the Team National opportunity. Team National provides its members with discount prices on goods and services in over 21 distinct industries. Portions of the NYKO were spent reiterating the benefits of this unique opportunity, and introducing new products and marketing tools.
In addition, the company's leaders provided attendees with an introspective look at the advances achieved by the company in 2012, and spoke openly about the company's goals for the upcoming year. A video was shared at each event, where Team National President and CEO, Angela Loehr Chrysler, and corporate executive team, addressed attendees with words of encouragement and revealed several reasons why Team National members should be excited about the future.
Attendance at the NYKO locations ranged from 25 to upwards of 400, and in total 5,646 people attended the simultaneous events. But perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of NYKO 2013 was Team National's commitment to good will.
Each location exhibited its benevolent nature by raising proceeds for one of Team National's charities of choice. Among the charities chosen were noble organizations like the Gateway for Cancer Research Foundation, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, the Humane Society of Broward County, Great Lakes Burn Camp and Feed the Children. All told, the NYKO 2013 nationwide event raised nearly $18,000 for charity.
This is not the first time Team National has contributed to those less fortunate. Since 1997 it has donated a staggering $2 million to worthy causes. Team National also participated in several Toy and Gift Drives during the holiday season.
