Analyst firm Forrester has just announced their top 15 technologies to watch over the next five years, and capabilities near and dear to our hearts hearts here at Revolution Analytics feature prominently.
Included on the list:
- Big Data platforms for real-time analytics
- Big Data platforms for batch analytics
- Customer intelligence and analytics platforms
- Business Intelligence (reporting, visualization and analytics)
That Big Data Analytics is a technology focus shouldn't come as a surprise. IT spending on Big Data market was already at $28 million in 2012 according to Gartner, and analysts including IDC forecast spending to grow by more than 30% annually (or even faster, according to some commentators).
