TAMPERE, Finland, February 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Aarno Cronvall, a veteran of classical music and radio, has joined the radio Classic team. Starting this spring, Cronvall will present a series of programs on Classic, including coverage of the International Classical Music Awards, where he will also serve as a member of jury.
The competition is aimed at promoting excellence in classical music and recognizing the top achievers in the industry. The awards ceremony will be held in Milan on March 18.
Cronvall will also take listeners on couch trips with his classical music themed travel programs. Featured in the program will be the world-famous Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland, among others.
Classic, Finland's only round-the-clock classical music station broadcasts the world's most beautiful music in 13 major cities across the country.
