BROOKLYN, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 02/20/13 -- Solidoodle, maker of the most affordable 3D printer on the market according to ABC, will hold its first official press conference on Thursday, February 28th at 10:00 am. The press conference will be held at Solidoodle 3D Pavillion at Ensemble, Manhattan's newest tech-design space located at 1150 Avenue of the Americas, 6th floor. Over 100 members of the media will be present to hear about the industry-shaking steps Solidoodle is taking to assert itself as the world leader in affordable desktop 3D printing. Solidoodle will announce several key partnerships as well as discuss the company's efforts to impact the defense, art, education, design, fashion and consumer industries. Solidoodle will also announce its emerging global markets operations with several noted worldwide distribution channels.
This event is by invitation only. Guests will be treated to a luncheon, followed by a short question and answer session. The event will wrap up with a presentation on Solidoodle and its revolutionary efforts to combine technological proficiency with economic viability as the company looks toward making a lasting effect on our culture while advancing manufacturing independence.
SoliConnect: Brooklyn Factory Tour - February 28, 4PM
Following the morning conference, Solidoodle will open its factory doors to members of the tech media and industry professionals. Guests will join Solidoodle owner & creator Sam Cervantes at the event titled "SoliConnect" for an in-depth tour of its cutting-edge, made-in-America fabrication process. This is a two-part event, beginning at Ensemble with a press conference led by Solidoodle CEO Sam Cervantes, a veteran executive of the 3D printing industry. A manufacturing pioneer with degrees in aerospace engineering and business manufacturing, Cervantes brings two decades of tech experience combined with an acute eye for brilliant inventions.
On schedule for the trendsetting SoliConnect event are an introduction to our dynamic production process and a review of our groundbreaking year, followed by a glimpse at Solidoodle's distinction of having the most affordable 3D printers in the market, and a look towards a greener Solidoodle future. Dream IT - March 14, 6PM
Solidoodle will join forces with Ensemble to launch Dream IT -- a half day event geared toward underscoring the impact of Solidoodle in the 3D printing market. The event will take place at the Solidoodle 3D Pavillion located in the heart of Bryant Park. On schedule will be "Solifusion," a presentation by VIP Solidoodlers who have used the Solidoodle to start their own businesses. In the "Solistudio" part of the program, artists will showcase their artwork created using Solidoodle 3D printers. Solidoodle will also premiere "Doodleland," a comprehensive collection of the magnificent "Solivisuals" printed by Solidoodlers, displayed in an artistic and stylish fashion.
