North Plains to Present at the Technology for Marketing & Advertising Show

North Plains, the leader in helping companies leverage their visual media assets, today announced that Ruth Knight, International Sales and Marketing Director, North Plains will be speaking at Technology for Marketing & Advertising (TFM&A) 26-27 February 2013. Additionally, Knight will be presenting a case study with the world’s leading premium drinks company, Diageo, on how the company leverages brand asset management to improve its productivity. Knight will join other North Plains staff at stand H20 during the event to highlight how North Plains’ product portfolio – On Brand, Xinet and Telescope – address the creative marketing lifecycle to more effectively create, manage and improve marketing agility and profitability.

The show will be the first European event to showcase all three solutions following North Plains’ acquisition of VYRE in December 2012. Defined as a “Visionary” in the February 2013 Gartner MRM Magic Quadrant report, North Plains will be discussing the challenges facing marketers and brand owners in creating and maintaining brand value, and driving marketing agility. As part of the promotions for the event, VIP attendees who visit the North Plains booth will have the opportunity to be entered into a draw to win one of five personalised bottles of Johnnie Walker.

At the show, Knight will be presenting, “The 4P's You May Not Have Heard Of: Transforming Marketing Into a Profit Centre Through MRM.” The presentation will focus on how marketing can provide greater return by leveraging MRM to align people, processes, performance measurement and optimisation.

In addition, Stephen McKillop, Global Project Lead at Diageo will join Knight for a case study presentation, “Diageo SmartBrand: The Evolution of a Global BAM. How SmartBrand Increases Productivity and Reduces Risks, Delivering a Six Times Payback.”

In its 13th year, TFM&A is considered to be the UK's largest and longest running event for the marketing, media and advertising industry.
