The Fed 100 awards recognize top executives in government, industry and academia who have had the greatest impact on the government information systems community.

Ms. Poole was selected for her work in creating the Hurricane Sandy Emergency Contracting Toolkit. She and her team designed, developed and executed the toolkit to help federal officials, the press and other stakeholders understand, interpret and quickly apply the unique procurement regulations pertaining to this type of emergency. It included a comprehensive guide to emergency contracting, frequently asked questions, step-by-step checklists, policy guidance and other resources, as well as a help desk available 24 hours a day.
