ATLANTA, March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today that the hours of operation for its Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Big Rapids, Michigan will now include Saturdays, March 9 and March 16. The Center provides one-on-one assistance to homeowners, renters and business of all sizes seeking disaster assistance for losses caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The center location and hours of operation are as follows:

Big Rapids Department of Public Safety

Big Rapids, MI 49307
Opens: Thursday, March 7 at 8 a.m.
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Closes: Wednesday, March 20 at the close of business
Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
Additional information on the disaster loan program can be obtained by calling SBA's Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Loan application forms can be downloaded from www.sba.gov.
The deadline to return applications for physical property damage is May 3, 2013. The deadline to return economic injury applications is December 4, 2013.
