TeleSpace Vio™ Enterprise cloud services for Synergis Education.
Synergis Education is a rapidly growing national provider of educational
services for colleges and universities. Synergis required a reliable and
cost effective cloud-based enterprise telephony solution for employees
embedded in university locations across the US and their corporate
offices. Synergis turned to TeleSpace and NextNet Partners to quickly
design and deploy a cloud collaboration solution for employees at
Synergis locations in Virginia, Illinois, and Arizona.
Synergis considered cloud-based solutions that would minimize the need
for internal support resources, avoid significant capital investments
for on-premise infrastructure, and accelerate deployment timeframes for
multiple locations across the US. Synergis contracted with NextNet
Partners to formalize requirements and drive the vendor selection
process. After three weeks, the winning solution was the combination of
Cisco Powered Vio Cloud Services from TeleSpace – providing a fully
integrated enterprise applications platform for voice over IP,
enterprise messaging, presence, instant messaging, video, and
conferencing – coupled with turnkey network design and integration
services from NextNet Partners. The TeleSpace contract was signed within
one week, and the entire solution was provisioned, deployed and
operational at the first Synergis location in approximately two weeks.
