EMERYVILLE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/14/13 -- AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah (AAA NCNU) is expanding from its lineup of personal products with the introduction of commercial insurance. Now, a AAA NCNU member can insure his or her business through the same agent with whom they currently insure their home and auto. AAA NCNU has partnered with Lighthouse Risk & Insurance Solutions, a majority owned subsidiary, to provide insurance for small- and medium-sized businesses.

AAA NCNU branch agents now offer three types of commercial insurance: business owner policies (BOP), commercial auto insurance and office and rental building insurance through partnerships with Fireman's Fund, Travelers and other leading insurance companies. The company's partner, Lighthouse Risk, works closely with agents to handle more complex policies.

AAA NCNU will be rolling out this new product line in a phased approach and expects it to be completely rolled out by 2014. The company has offered insurance since 1914 beginning with auto, then adding home in 1974 and life in 1998.
