TORONTO, March 22, 2013 /CNW/ - With an abundance of caution, Nestlé
Canada is voluntarily recalling Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter and Kit
Kat Chunky Hazelnut bars. The recall affects only the 48g size bars of
these two limited edition Kit Kat Chunky products. No other Kit Kat
product is affected.

The recall is due to the potential that the Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter
and Kit Kat Chunky Hazelnut may contain small pieces of plastic. There
have been no consumer complaints in Canada. Nestlé Canada is
voluntarily conducting this recall due to seven consumer complaints in
Europe.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has been informed about Nestlé's
decision to recall the product. Customers have been advised to remove
affected product from shelves.
Consumers are advised to discard their Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter and
Kit Kat Chunky Hazelnut bars and call Nestlé Canada for reimbursement
at 1-800-387-4636 (Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST).
On Friday, March 22, consumer service hours have been extended to 10:00
p.m. EST and on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24, consumers can
call between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST.
