Drool, Britannia? Is the UK Failing the Cloud?
By Roger Strukhoff
Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

PITTSBURGH, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/21/06 -- Inecom Entertainment Company announced today that "Blood and Oil - The Middle East in World War I" will be on sale at video stores, Internet retailers, educational and institutional distributors and large retail chains on December 5, 2006.

According to Michael Bussler, CEO of Inecom Entertainment Company, "Advance interest from retail sectors seems to be very strong for this production. We were already getting orders from stores before the release date was officially announced."

Written and produced by Marty Callaghan ("Archives of War, Remember Pearl Harbor: America Taken by Surprise"), "Blood and Oil--The Middle East in World War I" examines nine years of military struggle and political intrigue that set the stage for wars, revolts, coups, and Western intervention in the Middle East. The feature-length documentary film follows conflict from the Ottoman Empire's entry into the Great War in October 1914 to the Allied victory and the declaration of the new Turkish Republic in 1923, and the hostilities that have plagued the region since.

Preorders are being accepted at Amazon.com. Also on December 5, Inecom will release "World War 1 - American Legacy," which features the stories of Americans like Alan Seeger, Father Duffy, James Reese Europe, Quentin Roosevelt and the Lafayette Escadrille, who served in the Great War and influenced American culture today.
