We've looked at slow PostgreSQL queries causing problems and have not been able to find an issue. RESTON, Va., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV), at the forefront of developing the first hybrid satellite-terrestrial communications network, announced today that Wade Alt has joined the company as Vice President of Services Distribution and Management. Mr. Alt will report to Jack Dziak, Senior Vice President of Services and Distribution, and will assist in the formulation and management of MSV's distribution and delivery agreements with strategic channel partners for existing and next generation services portfolio.
Mr. Alt joins MSV after serving as Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Development for MCI Communications (now Verizon Business). In this role, he was responsible for developing and executing MCI's strategic direction, leading technology and business teams focusing on long-term opportunities in enterprise mobility, soft-client peer-to-peer VoIP, dual-mode voice, wireless data services platform(s), and WiFi enabled RAS offerings. In addition, he formulated and executed long-term strategic alliance agreements in mobile enterprise voice, data and applications.

Prior to joining MCI, Mr. Alt was a Senior Manager at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), serving in the Communications and High Tech vertical market unit. During his eight year tenure, he served a broad range of clients in the communications, high tech, products, and software markets, performing everything from business strategy and new market formulation to systems implementation, with a consistent emphasis on wireless and mobility technologies. Previously, Mr. Alt was with American Management Systems, where he worked on worldwide implementations of federal financial systems for the Department of State and Department of Agriculture agencies.
