CDW, a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government, education and healthcare, today announced that it is the recipient of a Cisco Best Integrated Marketing Campaign award. Cisco unveiled the 20 global winners April 17 at its annual Marketing Velocity conference in Cannes, France.

CDW won the award for its fourth-quarter “Client Golf” campaign featuring NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. Its integrated campaign featured broadcast and online advertising, a “Barkley on IT” microsite, a Barkley golf game on Facebook, social media and internal engagement programs, sales enablement, and public relations support. For the time it ran, the campaign was CDW’s largest-reaching ever – increasing awareness of CDW as a technology solutions provider.
Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago, worked with CDW to develop the integrated campaign, and Hall of Fame television commercial director Joe Pytka directed the television ads.
