"Sonomax" or the "Company" (TSX VENTURE: SHH) today announced the signing of an exclusive licensing agreement with Aearo Technologies, the world's largest hearing protection company and owner of the E-A-R brand of hearing protection. Sonomax has agreed to licence its SonoPass® software and SonoCustom® hearing protector to E-A-R. The SonoPass® software is designed to assess the level of protection which the wearer of a hearing protector receives from excessive noise. The SonoCustom® hearing protector provides a unique, custom-fitted earplug for protection against hazardous noise.

After seven years of commitment to extensive research and development, Sonomax will access a nearly billion dollar U.S. market, thanks to the collaborative agreement signed with Aearo Technologies, the global market leader in hearing protection. Aearo Technologies sells its E-A-R hearing protection products through an international network of distributors. In the context of the territories covered by this agreement, SonoCustom® expansion earpieces and SonoPass® individual fit validation will now become available to the who's who of industrial customers and armed forces around the world through Aearo's well-established channels of distribution.
