OSHKOSH, Wis., July 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to return to the playoffs after having an uncharacteristically mediocre 2012 campaign in which the team went 8-8 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2009. The 2013 season will start with a 1 p.m. contest versus the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 8, and excited fans have circled this date for some time as the start of football season is always highly anticipated in the Steel City.
Affordable Pittsburgh Steelers tickets are on sale at Ticketability.com for this contest. The last time that the Titans have played in Heinz Field was on Oct. 9, 2011. Pittsburgh dominated in a 38-17 victory that afternoon. The teams also played last year in Nashville, and the Titans edged just ahead of Pittsburgh in an exciting 26-23 contest broadcast by the NFL Network on Thursday Night Football. The only time these foes met in the playoffs was in 2002 when Tennessee won at home in overtime, 34-31.
Fans who find Pittsburgh Steelers tickets on Ticketability.com will be heading to a top-notch facility. Heinz Field is located in the North Shore neighborhood, and it has played host to Steelers games since it opened in 2001. The 65,050-seat facility has also played host to Pittsburgh Panthers home games since that season. Pitt won its first game there, 31-0, over East Tennessee State. The Steelers were victorious over the Cincinnati Bengals in their first regular-season game at the stadium, 16-7.
Fans who buy Pittsburgh Steelers tickets know all about this historic franchise's history. This team has won six Super Bowl titles, the highest total in NFL annals. Titles following the 2005 and 2008 seasons pushed the Steelers past five-time champion Dallas into the top spot on that prestigious list. Those two squads are tied for the most appearances with eight apiece. Pittsburgh also advanced to the Super Bowl following the 2010 campaign.
Those who are successful in their venture to find Pittsburgh Steelers tickets will be watching a Titans team come to town that is coming off of a challenging 6-10 campaign. Tennessee is also in the midst of a playoff drought as the Titans last qualified for postseason play in 2008. The team's last playoff win came back in 2003. However, those who buy Pittsburgh Steelers tickets for this contest will be hoping that the Titans continue their poor play through at least the first game of the 2013 season.
This popular online ticket seller offers a huge assortment of concert, sporting event, and theater tickets for thousands of events taking place, including NFL Football tickets for the much anticipated upcoming football season.

The true value of the Internet of Things (IoT) lies not just in the data, but through the services that protect the data, perform the analysis and present findings in a usable way. With many IoT elements rooted in traditional IT components, Big Data and IoT isn’t just a play for enterprise. In fact, the IoT presents SMBs with the prospect of launching entirely new activities and exploring innovative areas. CompTIA research identifies several areas where IoT is expected to have the greatest impac...

As the world moves from DevOps to NoOps, application deployment to the cloud ought to become a lot simpler. However, applications have been architected with a much tighter coupling than it needs to be which makes deployment in different environments and migration between them harder. The microservices architecture, which is the basis of many new age distributed systems such as OpenStack, Netflix and so on is at the heart of CloudFoundry – a complete developer-oriented Platform as a Service (PaaS...

The Industrial Internet revolution is now underway, enabled by connected machines and billions of devices that communicate and collaborate. The massive amounts of Big Data requiring real-time analysis is flooding legacy IT systems and giving way to cloud environments that can handle the unpredictable workloads. Yet many barriers remain until we can fully realize the opportunities and benefits from the convergence of machines and devices with Big Data and the cloud, including interoperability, ...

You use an agile process; your goal is to make your organization more agile. But what about your data infrastructure? The truth is, today's databases are anything but agile - they are effectively static repositories that are cumbersome to work with, difficult to change, and cannot keep pace with application demands. Performance suffers as a result, and it takes far longer than it should to deliver new features and capabilities needed to make your organization competitive. As your application an...

Over the years, a variety of methodologies have emerged in order to overcome the challenges related to project constraints. The successful use of each methodology seems highly context-dependent. However, communication seems to be the common denominator of the many challenges that project management methodologies intend to resolve. In this respect, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can be viewed as powerful tools for managing projects. Few research papers have focused on the way...

The term culture has had a polarizing effect among DevOps supporters. Some propose that culture change is critical for success with DevOps, but are remiss to define culture. Some talk about a DevOps culture but then reference activities that could lead to culture change and there are those that talk about culture change as a set of behaviors that need to be adopted by those in IT. There is no question that businesses successful in adopting a DevOps mindset have seen departmental culture change, ...

The Internet of Things is tied together with a thin strand that is known as time. Coincidentally, at the core of nearly all data analytics is a timestamp. When working with time series data there are a few core principles that everyone should consider, especially across datasets where time is the common boundary. In his session at Internet of @ThingsExpo, Jim Scott, Director of Enterprise Strategy & Architecture at MapR Technologies, discussed single-value, geo-spatial, and log time series dat...
