Deem Ground, the leading ground transportation marketplace and wholly-owned subsidiary of Deem (formerly Global Ground Automation or GGA), announced today the launch of its new intuitive, web-based ground transportation reservation app in the Sabre Red App Centre.
The productivity-boosting Deem Ground app is an evolution of the Sabre Red Workspace classic-view, scripts-based booking for ground reservations with an intuitive user interface designed to increase travel counselor speed and support client policies.
Sabre-enabled corporate and retail travel counselors can use the app to search and book black cars, limousines, taxis, shuttles, and other ground transportation reservations, with the following innovative features and benefits:
- Rate shopping, which makes vendor prices visible to the travel counselor on the first screen following the initial search.
- Drive-time and distance calculations for the trip, based on time of day and traffic patterns.
- Instant address validation and type-ahead capability to promote faster search.
- Storage of corporate client vendor preferences and payment preferences for quick and visible reference, with real-time policy updates – no scripts required.
- Storage and quick reference of last ten pick-up and drop-off locations by traveler.
